His remarkable journey began in 1985 with the establishment of Bharat Industrial Guards Services (BIGS), a proprietorship that quickly earned a reputation for reliability and quality in Surat and parts of Gujarat. Ltd., a private limited company designed to expand the business’s reach and enhance its professional stature. While Bharat Industrial Guards Services catered primarily to Surat and select regions of Gujarat, BIGS Support Services Pvt. Ltd. broadened its footprint, extending operations across eight states in India. Mr. R. D. Patil’s success is a family affair, with his two sons, Vijay Raghunath Patil and Ajay Raghunath Patil, playing integral roles in carrying forward his vision. Vijay, the elder son and an MBA graduate, joined Bharat Industrial Guards Services in 1999 as a Manager, bringing a strategic and academic perspective to the business. He later transitioned into a Director role at BIGS Support Services Pvt. Ltd. upon its formation in 2007. Ajay, the younger son and a graduate, joined as a Director of BIGS Support Services Pvt. Ltd. in 2007, contributing fresh energy and ideas. Together, under their father’s mentorship, they have fortified the company’s leadership and expanded its influence.
